Ripa Relais boasts a serene location in the heart of Umbria’s countryside. With just 16 rooms, this argirutismo diffuso hotel guarantees a relaxing stay.

The guest rooms are scattered throughout the grounds in four ancient buildings that have been lovingly restored. You’ll find cosy wrought iron beds, wooden beams and furnishings that have been locally made. The manicured grounds house a lovely pool that’s surrounded by gardens and countryside views. There’s also a modern spa for those who truly wish to unwind.

A highlight of this property is its fantastic restaurant. Ristorante Ripa Relais serves incredible Umbrian cuisine with a contemporary touch. The menu changes seasonally to make the most of locally-sourced ingredients – expect to see truffles, local cheese, beef sourced from Tuscany and olive oil made from the hotel’s own trees.

Those wanting to explore Umbria will find Perugia just over half an hour’s drive away, and the popular town of Assisi is just a 20-minute drive.


Classic Rooms are finished in a classic Umbrian style with terracotta floors, wooden furniture and wrought iron beds. They measure 15-17m² and can sleep up to two adults. Facilities include air conditioning, minibar, TV, free wifi and hairdryer.

Superior Rooms offer more space with 20-25m² and can accommodate up to three adults.


Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast buffet with freshly-made pastries, cold meats, cheeses and cereals.

Restaurants & Bars

Restaurant Ripa Relais has a warm and cozy ambience with exposed brick arches and wooden beams. The menu changes seasonally and dishes are based on traditional Umbrian cuisine with a modern twist, using local ingredients and olive oil made from the trees on the hotel grounds.


The large pool is surrounded by peaceful gardens and has a hydromassage corner. A pool bar offers light lunches, snacks and ice cream. It’s open from May to September.


Ripa Relais spa is well equipped with sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and relaxation area. Entrance to the spa, beauty treatments and massages are payable locally.

Resort/Tourist Tax
