It’s time to start dreaming about 2020 holidays again. As the Maldives is set to open its borders in October, this fantastic offer has been created to welcome you back to this idyllic country.
At a glance
Watersports and island activities
6 restaurants and 6 bars in beach, overwater and jungle locations
Maldivian natural beauty
An unassuming, fresh and modern Maldivian island retreat, rooted in its beautiful surroundings.
You'll be whisked away to the far-flung Raa Atoll, where you’ll find the down-to-earth Reethi Faru. This private island has that longed-for Robinson Crusoe vibe but there’s plenty of island adventures on offer, too, so it doesn’t have to be all about lazing by the pool or on the beach (unless that’s exactly what you’re after). During your week here, the incredible lagoon and house reef are likely to be your focus – you can see rays, sharks and turtles just a few strokes from the shore and the resort really shines when it comes to watersports. For an extra cost, you can paddleboard, windsurf, kitesurf or even try the adrenaline-inducing flyboarding. There are also sunset and dolphin-seeking cruises on a traditional dhoni, sandbank safaris and local island visits.
A free room upgrade means you’ll be staying in one of the vibrantly styled Deluxe Beach Villas, just steps from the ocean. An upgrade to full board has also been thrown in so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant Vakaru. On a special occasion, or if you just fancy treating yourselves, have dinner at one of the specialist restaurants, for a supplement. We love the overwater Dhiyavaru Restaurant and the romantic torch-lit cabanas at Huvandhu Garden.
