Pretty, tropical gardens roll all the way down to a pristine, paper-white beach at the Iberostar Tainos.
This place looks the spitting image of a Caribbean village, with low-rise buildings cosied up to palm trees. Guests – or should we say residents – get free rein of a pool, three restaurants and five bars.
The hotel’s secured a spot by the sand on Varadero’s strip. It’s also just five minutes’ drive to Varahicacos Ecological Reserve, where you’ve got nature trails and a cave full of pre-Colombian paintings.
While you're away, you can speak to the tour operator anytime - they're available 24/7 via their App, phone, SMS and email. The easy-to-use App is also packed with info and tips. It sends you important updates, like your airport transfer times, too.

Food & Drink
A buffet restaurant’s on hand for all your meals. It even puts on a late-night spread for night owls. There’s also a Japanese restaurant with a teppanyaki table, as well as a thatched-roof grill place. For drinks, you’ve got a handful of watering holes. During the day, bars by the pool and beach look after thirsty sunbathers. And after dark, there’s the lobby lounge, an al fresco bar and a theatre.
The pool’s shaped like a lagoon and surrounded by palms and sunbeds. There’s a kids’ pool to one side. Plus, follow the path through the grounds and you’ll end up on the beach.
Iberostar’s popular kids’ club concept – Star Club – is present and correct here. It’s split into groups, so everyone from 4 to 17-year-olds are covered. Expect the likes of cooking, art and science experiments.Come evening, you can go for a quiet one at the lobby bar, or see what’s on stage at the theatre bar.
