Located between the picturesque valley towns of Saalbach and Hinterglemm, Hotel Austria is a homely hotel with neatly designed gardens. Multiple lounging areas, an outdoor seating area with water fountain and adjacent pool provide the perfect spot to soak up the surrounding natural beauty.

Overlooking the Saalach River, you are approximately 1.5km from the centres of Saalbach and Hinterglemm and the summer walking lifts. The area is connected well with the summer Postbus, with a bus stop close to the hotel providing direct access to Saalbach and Hinterglemm.

There is a warm feel throughout, the rustic restaurant has a traditional feel and stone décor. Themed dinners ensure weekly variety here. Why not enjoy a refreshing drink in the large bar with dance floor. Adults can unwind in the Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and aroma steam bath. Whilst younger guests will appreciate the outdoor playground.

All rooms are comfortably furnished with homely rustic design.

Saalbach & Hinterglemm

Surrounded by rolling hills and countryside, Saalbach and Hinterglemm in the scenic Glemm valley are a paradise for walkers offering 400km of well marked paths and more than 30 rustic mountain huts along the way.

There is a huge range of activities for families, and it is also one of Austria’s premier mountain biking areas. Both villages have attractive pedestrianised centres with a good choice of shops, cafés and restaurants. Traditional folklore events, band concerts and weekly festivals take place throughout July and August.
