Arriving on ‘Paradise Island’ by boat to a picturesque jumble of candy coloured ‘houses’ in a beautiful and protected National Park is a memorable start to your holiday at Adakoy Beachclub.
This charming hotel has a secluded location and laid back atmosphere, the idyllic setting benefits from consistent winds and flat water, meaning it is perfect for just about all activities and absolutely fantastic for waterskiing and wakeboarding.
Adakoy Beachclub occupies a tranquil private waterfront location on Adakoy Island, in a protected natural park. As the only hotel on Adakoy island, the club has a unique and peaceful location on the secluded side of Marmaris Bay.
Whilst offering seclusion with its own bay and beach, Adakoy Beachclub is jus 4kms (20 minutes in a water taxi local charge) from the bustling resort town of Marmaris. The traditional harbour area is lined with restaurants and tucked behind the waterfront is the ‘Old Town’ with a bazaar selling leather, jewellery and carpets.
Further afield the ancient city and tombs of Kaunos can be combined with a trip to the mud baths along the Dalyan River.

The sailing area sits between the Beachclub and an off-shore island, giving some good breezes and relatively flat water. There are plenty of coves and bays to explore by kayak and SUP.
Back on dry land, there are 2 tennis courts and a good variety of bike routes with guided riding.
The gentle wind is best suited to dinghy sailing for beginners and less experienced intermediates. As the sailing area sits between the hotel and an off shore island the wind funnels through giving some great conditions. Affected less by the Meltemi winds that blow down the Turkish Coast, although the winds do follow a similar thermal pattern.
The Beachclub has a wide range of dinghies suited to the local conditions with dinghy sailing tuition and courses also available. Everyone is welcome from complete beginners to enthusiastic improvers and accomplished experts looking for sunshine and the best conditions.
The beach is open every day from 9.30am until the last guest comes of the water and use of equipment, free sailing, RYA courses and tuition is included in the cost of your dinghy sailing. holiday.
Kayaking & Stand up paddle boarding
The turquoise waters are great to navigate by kayak and canoe; there is a myriad of pretty coves and bays to explore set against a lush green backdrop. To make the most of the interesting coastline and to get you out kayaking the Beachclub organises a number of kayak safaris together with a great choice of canoes and kayaks plus their British Canoe Union (BCU) qualified coaches.
Waterskiing and wakeboarding*
Every morning there is a usual guarantee of flat water, perfect for advanced and beginner level wakeboarders and water skiers. In the afternoon conditions often stay favourable until around 2 or 3pm when the wind can pick up and cause occasional choppy conditions.
The island in front of the resort acts as a windbreak for most of the day allowing reliable conditions for most of the day.
*2 free tows per person per week are included with beginner, intermediate and advanced upgrade packs available for £150 per person (6x15minute tows).
The mountain biking at Adakoy offers a good mix of on and off road riding. Many of the bike rides start with a trip on the boat over to Marmaris and the easier rides often get the boat back too. The ‘Prom ride’ which runs on a couple of evenings per week is a leisurely cruise along the flat and smooth promenade to the town of Icmeler for a refreshment stop before the ride back to Adakoy.
There are two rides that stay on the island; both are short but technical with some steep rocky climbs and descents. The longer and more challenging rides are the ‘National Park’ ride and the ‘River Crossing’ epic.
There are two all weather astro-turf tennis courts where on our tennis holidays the coaches offer group sessions, individual coaching and fun tournaments.
Tour operator−run children's clubs are available all season for children aged 4 months to 17 years.
Cots, baby baths, buggies and a 24-hour baby room are also available for guests with children.
