A holiday to Kremasti will find you on the north coast of the Island of Rhodes in a busy little village along the coast road. Kremasti is a pretty traditional village with a tree lined square overlooked by the large village church. On the 15 August each year, the village celebrates its Panigiri or Festival of the Virgin Mary with a fiesta, funfair and large street market and craft fair.

The wide shingle beach at Kremasti is quite steep so not particularly suitable for young children and can be noisy in high season as it is on the flight path for Rhodes airport.

Rhodes Town is the oldest inhabited medieval town in Europe and it is a delight to explore the maze of old streets and lanes. Nearby, visit the inland village of Pastida with its tavernas and shops and take a stroll amongst the citrus and olive groves. The ancient Ialyssos acropolis on Mt Filerimos, Petaloudes (Valley of the Butterflies) and the ancient site of Kamiros are all optional half day excursions available from Kremasti.
