This is a hotel that really lives up to its name; a setting on the edge of a sheltered cove and an easy-going, island vibe combine to create your own little piece of paradise. As soon as you arrive at this Small Luxury Hotel of the World you can't help but slip into a laid-back state of mind and welcome a pace of life that's a little bit slower than the norm. The focus at Paradise Cove is very much on spending time together as a couple; this is a fantastic spot for some 'us time' whether you're hidden away in one of the waterside love nests or enjoying one of the experiences, such as morning yoga on the beach, al fresco couples' spa treatments and a sunset cruise on the hotel's own catamaran.
The low-key style of the Paradise Cove is reflected in the simple, yet charming dcor of the rooms and suites which are located in three-storey buildings throughout the hotel's grounds. The four-poster beds with white drapes create a feeling of romance and the terrace or balconies have views out over the grounds towards the cove or they overlook the water directly. The Deluxe and Deluxe Premium Rooms are both a comfortable choice, however if you're seeking a little more space, an upgrade to a Club Junior or Senior Suite comes highly recommended.
The hotel's main restaurant, The Dining Room is beautifully spacious and light-filled and has a view out on to the swimming pool and inside or outdoor seating. Breakfast consists of a wide selection of dishes from local to continental. In the evenings there are themed buffets and table d'hte menu. For a more intimate experience, spend an evening at The Cove, which overlooks the tranquil water of the pretty cove. For dishes with an Asian flair, the new restaurant XO is the place to be. Seating just 20 people, it has an exclusive, yet relaxed atmosphere. Indigo Restaurant is set on the Peninsula. Open for lunch, this laid-back venue has extraordinary views out over the sea and the northern islands. The adjacent Pop-In bar is a fantastic place to catch a breathtaking Indian Ocean sunset while you enjoy a cocktail. Located back in the heart of the hotel, the S.T.A.Y Bar, with its arm chairs and sofas, is another relaxing venue in which to enjoy a drink or two. Next to the lobby you will find the Rum Gallery which is open all day. Here you can enjoy a range of locally produced rum alongside some international favourites. It's not all about spirits and cocktails however wine lovers should head for S'Cellar to sample some of the finest Southern Hemisphere rums
Enjoy a romantic sunset cruise or day of sailing around the north islands. Ride a bike to Cap Malheureux village. Take part in a range of watersports on the cove and out into the lagoon. Experience a vibrant Sega performance at S.T.A.Y. Bar. *Denotes local charge
