Protur Aparthotel Vista Badia

Sa Coma, Majorca

from £

A SNAPSHOT
This hotel overlooks a huge, lagoon pool surrounded by lawns. And in summer, children have a waterpark with slides and a wonky castle. It's just 200m from the hotel. There’s a big choice of restaurants – La Fontana, the Italian one, gets great reviews on TripAdvisor.

This place is right next to a national park, while the wide, sandy beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. And it’s not much further to Sa Coma’s bars, shops and restaurants.

POOL SCENE
The lagoon pool comes with a big sunbathing terrace dotted with palm trees, along with a separate children’s pool. And for drinks and snacks there’s a pool bar.

There’s a waterpark* just 200m from the hotel that's open between June and September. It’s got a huge, landscaped pool, and plenty of slides and waterfalls for children.

FOOD & DRINK
There’s a buffet restaurant serving three meals a day, along with late-night snacks. You’ll find an international menu, along with show cooking from the chefs.

As well as the buffet and Greek restaurant, you can eat at the four Club Protur Sa Coma resort’s shared restaurants. These include an Argentinian grill, where the steaks are enormous, and an Italian specialising in Tuscan cuisine.

SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
At the sports complex there are 18 tennis and two squash courts, along with games like football and volleyball. You can try something new, like Nordic walking, or tackle the climbing wall.

You can hire bikes and cycle along the prom. For the little ones, there’s a Kids’ Club by TUI Family Life over in the neighbouring Protur Safari Park in summer, and a supervised playroom.

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
There are live performances every night, from magic shows to live bands. Or if it’s just a drink you’re after, you’ve got a bar with a terrace and a food menu. For children, meanwhile, there’s a mini-disco.

HEALTH & BEAUTY
You can use the spa at the neighbouring Protur BIomar Gran Hotel. It’s got a hydrothermal circuit that comes with body-massage jets, waterfall umbrellas and a micro-bubbles bed.

The hotel has an indoor pool, and you can also book in for treatments like facials and massages. The gym on site comes with cardio machines and free weights.
