This place is owned and run by 2 brothers. And they’ve made it a high scoring hotel on TripAdvisor. The deep pool is one reason, as is the restaurant, which hosts a barbecue night every week.
There’s a Blue Flag beach 15 minutes’ walk away. It’s a sand-and-pebble number with several tavernas and cafés. And if you don’t fancy the walk, there’s always the little shuttle train.
The small pool has a sun terrace around the water’s edge, complete with umbrellas and comfy sunloungers. Children love it, too – there’s a separate section of the pool just for younger guests.
Just a few steps from the water, there’s a pool bar, which serves lunches. And the barmen play music throughout the day, which keeps things lively.
FOOD & DRINK
At the restaurant, a Continental breakfast is served every day – there’s a big variety here, from Greek yoghurt and cakes. Plus there’s a full cooked line-up, too.
There’s a weekly barbecue, where the owners cook the food and everybody dances. TripAdvisor reviewers say the atmosphere’s great, and it gives you the chance to get to know other guests.
There’s a traditional-style bar serving all-day snacks and drinks. It’s got a big-screen TV that shows Premier League games on match days. Or there’s the lounge, which also has a bar and satellite TV.
Apart from the weekly quiz and barbecue, the hotel doesn’t lay on much in terms of entertainment. But it’s just a 10-minute walk to Kriopigi, with its big choice of restaurants and cocktail bars.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
Nothing’s too much trouble for the owners, who can arrange beauty treatments or a hairdresser for you. Just ask at reception and they’ll see what they can do.
You can expect a balcony or terrace in rooms at the Aegean Aparthotel. There are double rooms and studios available with a pool or sea view. There are also Preferred studios available with a mountain view.
