Run by two brothers, this traditional hotel scores highly on TripAdvisor for its good home-cooking and friendly staff. The rooms are sporting a new look for 2017, too. Location-wise, it’s just steps from a sandy beach and the local shops.
The restaurant serves local and international dishes in a leafy open-air courtyard, and puts on regular barbecues and other themed nights. There’s a bar indoors, too. As for sport, there’s tennis in the gardens.
The pool is just the right size for the number of guests. It comes with a well-stocked bar and a covered seating area where you can tuck into freshly-made sandwiches and other light snacks.
FOOD & DRINK
The courtyard restaurant prides itself on its menu of local specialities. But it also does a good Sunday roast if you fancy a taste of home, and the weekly curry buffets and barbecue nights are a highlight.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
There’s a floodlit tennis court in the grounds, and a darts board and pool table in the bar.
Evenings at the Anais Bay are as laid-back as the rest of the hotel and are usually spent sipping cocktails by the pool. There's a barbecue night every week, with karaoke.
All of the rooms here have been renovated, just so you know this doesn't include the apartments. Twin rooms come with a balcony or terrace for a bit of extra space. You'll also get a separate bathroom with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-fridge, air-conditioning, satellite TV. For a bit of extra luxury, you can upgrade to a sea view. From May 2018 rooms will include free safety deposit boxes.
