Set in six acres, this hotel counts smart pools and top-drawer restaurants among its 5-star trimmings. Other luxe touches include a swim-up bar and night-time venues ripe for evening cocktails.
Location-wise, the shops and restaurants of Kato Paphos are more or less on your doorstep. And Paphos harbour, with its waterfront tavernas, is only a 10-minute walk away.
The pools are split between Annabelle and sister hotel, Almyra. In the grounds you’ll find a half-Olympic-sized pool and a split-level grotto pool nestled among greenery. Both have bars, one being a swim-up number.
Head to the Almyra next door to use the glossy infinity pool. The sea views from here are the icing on the cake.
FOOD & DRINK
Four top restaurants line up to tempt you. As well as the buffet, there’s a fine-dining eatery with a contemporary French menu and a classical pianist providing the soundtrack.
The taverna-style venue close to the beach serves plenty of fresh fish and salads for lunch. Meanwhile, Asteras is the place for candlelit gourmet dining. In between meals you can get things like afternoon tea in the lobby bar.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
The racket sports here include tennis and squash. You can hire bikes, too. And for baking fans, the hotel offers classes with the in-house bakery team.
For children, there are hotel-run kids’ and teen clubs*, which are for ages between 4 months and 11 years. These are based over at the sister hotel, Almyra.
The Byzantine bar is the place to head for cocktails and light entertainment, either from the resident singer or a DJ. The other venue for evening drinks is the colonial-style lobby bar.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
Hotel Annabelle has a gym, and you can use the sea-view spa at Hotel Almyra. It has six treatment rooms and three spa suites, and offers organic and marine-based therapies.
As well as treatments, the spa at the sister hotel has a yoga deck and an indoor pool. Plus, you’ll find saunas, a steam room, and a hair salon.
Rooms here all come with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi - plus you'll find extras like bathrobes and slippers. If you’d like to enjoy a sea or pool view from your balcony or terrace, these are available for a bit extra. Treat yourself and upgrade to a deluxe room - these come with a sea view and a large balcony. Sea-view studios are also available.
