This place is set in the heart of the exclusive Aphrodite Hills complex, which is also home to luxury properties, great restaurants, a championship golf course, and a top-class spa that boasts a string of awards.
The resort’s hilltop position means it looks out over the Mediterranean Sea. And if you want to get closer to the coast, there’s a shuttle bus to whisk you there. Zias Beach is a pebbly stretch which is just 20 minutes down the road and is open from May - October. The beach comes with a stylish beach club, offering All Inclusive drinks and snacks.
Other highlights include a clutch of pools that come with indulgent extras such as infinity edges. As for activities and entertainment, expect a timetable spanning yoga classes and acoustic music performances.
The main pool is a massive, two-tiered number. An infinity edge connects the lower and upper sections, and there’s a bar for each level. There’s also a built-in whirlpool, plus a shaded children’s paddling pool.
You can relax in the quieter, adults-only pool, which also has its own bar. Elsewhere, there’s an infinity-edge activity pool, a indoor-outdoor pool in the health club, plus a family pool and sunbathing area.
FOOD & DRINK
The Eleonas buffet restaurant offers local flavours, international favourites, and a section of healthier options. The poolside place, El Sabor, meanwhile, serves laid-back lunches, plus an à la carte evening menu of Mexican platters.
You can tuck into freshly-rolled pasta in the Fig & Olive Mediterranean speciality restaurant. Alternatively, head for the Asian fusion spot, Jasmine, to twirl noodles and scoop up fresh sushi.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
A packed activity programme sets you up for the day with morning jogs, and introduces you to things like tennis, archery, and dancing. The complex is also laced with walking trails, and you can sign up for lessons at the championship golf course*.
Little ones will be invited to join in with treasure hunts and themed days at Sensatori’s Play House. It’s right next door to a super-sized sandy play area, filled with slides, climbing frames, and a zip-wire.
A talented in-house cast lead Sensatori’s signature shows. Expect West End-style productions, tributes to the likes of The Andrews Sisters and The Four Seasons, plus fly-in guest performances from soul singers.
You can sip martinis on the Sunset Lounge’s al fresco terrace. It overlooks the sea and the velvety greens of the neighbouring golf course. Elsewhere, acoustic musicians accompany proceedings in the Carob Lounge.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
Head to the award-winning Retreat Spa*, in the Village Square area, to pamper yourself with indulgent treatments like sea salt body buffs and caviar facials. You can also work your way through different types of Greco-Roman heat rooms.
You can join a relaxing yoga session on the hillside wellbeing platform, which overlooks the coastline. Indoors, the resort’s own health club houses a fully-equipped gym, plus separate saunas and steam rooms for men and women. They're all free to use.
All of the rooms here feature flatscreen TVs, free Wi-Fi and a separate bath and shower. Deluxe doubles are available with a sea view or if you'd like somewhere more spacious try a family room with sliding doors - these give you added privacy too as the doors separate the sleeping areas. If you like to be first in the pool you could also try a swim-up room with a terrace and sea view. Family suites with Jacuzzi and sea view are also available.
