Biyadhoo Island Resort
Biyadhoo Island Resort

At a glance

  • Excellent house reef and diving
  • Great value with all meals included
  • Simple and relaxed

There are exquisite beaches around the island where you can spend lazy days paddling in the clear waters and sunbathing on pure white sand – or you could give diving a go. The resort’s PADI courses are led by helpful instructors who will select the dive site based on your skill level, so if you’re new to diving you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands. You can also join a twice-weekly snorkelling trip on the spectacular house reef where you’ll be in with a chance of spotting reef sharks, rays and turtles.

All your meals are included with our amazing offer, so you can feast on flavoursome Maldivian dishes and cuisine from around the world at Biyadhoo’s Palm restaurant. For an icy drink and evening entertainment, head to the al fresco Coconut Bar, where the thatched roof and sandy floor create a super relaxed vibe.

Your room has a fresh and simple style, and also features either a balcony or terrace. It’s a fantastic choice if you plan to spend more time at the beach and less time indoors, as the room is set just steps from the shore.

More Resort Info

There’s no pretence about Biyadhoo – if you’re looking for a simple escape at a good value, established resort with a wonderful natural environment, this is it. It’s why many of the guests here return year after year. This year, the resort has improved many of its facilities, with changes including free Wi-Fi in the lobby and bar area and twice-weekly snorkelling trips, as well as a refreshment of the rooms, reception, restaurant (where there’s also a new chef) and bar.

Rooms are housed in two-storey blocks, just a few steps back from the water’s edge. They are fairly basic but perfectly adequate, as most guests here tend to focus on the outdoors. Each has a balcony or terrace leading to the beach.
