What are the beaches like in Ko Samui?
The shores of Ko Samui are fringed with white sand, clear waters and endless palm trees. Chaweng Beach on the island's east shore is said to be the most naturally beautiful and is also the most developed with lots of attractions on the beachside road and numerous water sports available.
Lots of local restaurants and beach bars line the main beaches on Ko Samui providing constant refreshment, often delivered straight to your sunbed.
If you're looking for something quieter then head to Maenam in the northwest, a less established area.
Sightseeing in Ko Samui
Although the island is relatively small, it packs a lot in.
