Chiang Mai Holidays
Chiang Mai an inland city in northern Thailand. It's the country's second largest city but is vastly smaller than the sprawling capital of Bangkok.
As a busy working city Chiang Mai is filled with modern industry that sits easily alongside elegant temples and traditional wooden houses. It is known for its relaxed take on life and holidaymakers choose to visit to experience the laidback attitude found here.
The city's historical Old Town occupies just a square mile and is encircled by a moat. Within the Old Town you'll find much of Chiang Mai's history, in architecture dating back over 700 years.
