St Pauls Bay Holidays
St Paul's Bay is one of the largest and most popular resorts on the island of Malta. The resort is made up of four different areas Bugibba, Qawra, Xemxija and the Old Town.
Bugibba is the busiest of the four, with a modern style and lots of tourist attractions. Qawra is also a lively tourist spot, although still newly emerging in comparison to Bugibba. In the Old Town you'll find traditional life still prevails and quiet Xemxija is predominantly populated by wealthy Maltese who decamp here for the summer.
Who is St Paul's Bay suitable for?
A St Paul's Bay holiday offers something for everyone. Located on Malta's north coast, it's an ideal location for singles, couples and families with children young or old. Those wanting a bustling resort with lots of activities on offer should head for Bugibba or Qawra with their variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
The best time to visit St Paul's Bay
Thanks to its Mediterranean location, St Paul's Bay benefits from a fantastic year-round climate. With hot summers, pleasant spring months and cooler winters it's a perfect holiday destination any time of the year.
If you want a guaranteed tan then pick the main summer months of July and August. Be prepared for heat, and lots of fellow holidaymakers, but don't worry as the coastal breeze will keep you cool.
If you're more interested in culture than tanning then April and May are your best bet. These spring months still offer plentiful sunshine but the lower temperature means exploring the sights of the island will be a much easier task
