Who goes to Cala Vinas?
A holiday to Cala Vinas will appeal to couples and families looking for a small quiet resort but near to a variety of attractions Majorca has to offer. Cala Vinas is quite hilly in places so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
Cala Vinas is situated on a peninsular surrounded by cliffs and pine forests with sheltered shallow waters which are ideal for young children.  The sandy beach and calm water also make it attractive for snorkelling.
Places to visit when on holiday in Cala Vinas
Cala Vinas is close to two waterparks, the Western Water Park which has a wild west theme and Aqualand.  Boat trips and water sports are available from the lively resort of Magaluf.
A visit to Marineland in nearby Portal Nous features sea lions, dolphin and parrot shows.
Whilst on holiday in Cala Vinas take the opportunity to explore the capital of Majorca, Palma with its' beautiful cathedral and harbour area.  The easiest way to see Palma is on the sightseeing bus which takes in all the main sights. On a holiday to Cala Vinas why not visit the old towns of Calvia or Andraitx and call at Puerto de Andraitx  which is home to the rich and famous and where you will find some very expensive yachts moored in the marina near to the more traditional fishing boats.
