Sightseeing in Candolim
The most visited site in Candolim is Fort Aguada. It was built by the Portuguese in 1612 as a defence against Dutch invaders and sits atop the rocky headland of Candolim. After visiting the fort you can also wander around the church, 4-storey lighthouse and barracks of the Aguada Jail.
