Holiday Summary
Description
Located between Malindi and Mombasa on the cliffs of Kilifi overlooking the Indian Ocean and Kilifi Creek; the Mnarani Beachclub has a fantastic location in the most peaceful and picturesque of surroundings.
The dinghy sailing is superb and we offer a full range of RYA tuition and courses. Kilifi creek, a tidal river estuary opening out into the Indian Ocean, is a world championship sailing venue. Consistent trade winds and warm, clear water ensure excellent sailing conditions all year round with winds building throughout the day, reaching on average force 3-4 most days.
No trip to Kenya is complete without getting up close to some of the biggest local wildlife. To make the most of the holiday time you have available, we're offering a range of fabulous safari options including an unforgettable chance to visit the Masai Mara game reserve.

ROOMS
The Mnarani Beachclub offers a choice of 'Creek' or 'Garden'
rooms.
Situated closest to the beach and watersports, our 'Creek' rooms
are all located on the ground floor and offer views over the creek
and Indian Ocean. These rooms are spacious and light and can
accommodate an extra bed plus a cot.
Bungalow style 'Garden' rooms form a semi circle around landscaped
gardens, giant Frangipani trees provide pockets of shade and many
of the private terraces afford glimpses of the creek beyond. The
'Garden' rooms have a lovely tranquil atmosphere and enjoy close
access to a 'plunge' pool with views of the creek.
Both 'Garden' and 'Creek' rooms are simply and tastefully
decorated with traditional style thatched roofs, hardwood furniture
and a touch of Arabic style. All rooms feature recently upgraded
bathrooms with shower and wc, air conditioning, fridge, mosquito
nets and private terrace.

FACILITIES:
The open plan bar and restaurant enjoys cooling sea breezes and wonderful views of the stunning swimming pool, creek and ocean. When dusk falls colourful lanterns suspended from wooden beams sway in the breeze and create a magical atmosphere in which to relax whilst enjoying a quiet chat or entertainment from local musicians and traditional dancers.
You can look forward to a tempting mix of local and western
dishes. Many locals make their living fishing so there's lots of
fresh fish on the menu; the coast also has an Asian influence so
there are plenty of delicious curry dishes on offer. Don't miss the
weekly beach barbecue, which serves grilled local fish, beef fillet
and local oysters from Kilifi creek. The bar serves a variety of
house wines, local beer, international spirits and soft
drinks
Sun loungers and parasols are located around the pool either on
the terrace or under the shade of the trees on the lawns. There is
an additional 'plunge' pool behind the restaurant and bar, close to
the 'Garden' rooms.
The gardens are inviting and beautifully maintained and the
resident troop of monkeys will delight you with their antics. Paths
through the grounds lead to the white sandy beach of the resorts
private cove. This gorgeous little beach has every facility for
watersports including a PADI registered dive school. Or you can
simply enjoying a swim, relax on a lounger under the thatched
parasols or enjoy some refreshment at the beach bar. There is also
a 'spa' where you can enjoy a range of treatments including massage
and manicures.
Levels of service at the resort are excellent and nothing is too
much trouble, the reception offers money exchange facilities,
Internet access and a small gift shop.
